This organization has a comprehensive program for people living with or at risk of contracting hepatitis C.  Services include: testing, individual counselling and support, referrals to assessment for treatment as well as access to additional community and social supports such as housing, food bank services, addiction support and assistance with transportation.  A Hep C support group is offered every other month for pre-treatment and treatment clients.  A needle exchange program is part of their larger harm reduction initiative.

Actions sida Côte-Nord is based in Sept-Iles and provides a variety of information and services to people living with hepatitis C, HIV and those who are co-infected. ASCN does Hep C and HIV presentations in local schools and detention centres. Other available services include: harm reduction outreach and education in the community, a needle exchange and condom distribution program, counselling and referrals for clients (both on-site and at their clients’ homes), and accompaniment to medical appointments.

This AIDS service organization supports people who are co-infected with HIV and Hep C by providing education and support services to their clients. They also include Hep C information in their educational presentations and outreach activities.

Hep-tonic is a cool new program that provides education to youth and adults on Hep C, HIV and other blood borne infections. Looking at things from a harm reduction perspective, the Hep-tonic program strives to increase awareness of prevention and transmission of Hep C, as well as access to testing, care, treatment information and referrals. Hep-tonic provides people with accurate information and education.

The ACOL provides a variety of services to people living with, affected by or at risk of contracting hepatitis C.  Services include: individual counselling and support, referrals and advocacy for testing, treatment and accessing other social services, Hep C information sessions, harm reduction education and access to several support groups.  A needle exchange program and harm reduction supplies are available onsite.

ACSC provide support to people who are co-infected with HIV and hepatitis C living in the Simcoe region.  They have Hep C information resources at their office locations and they include Hep C prevention education as part of their community outreach workshops and presentations.

This Montreal-based organization has an HIV/AIDS and safe sexuality focus; they also have hepatitis C information on their website and at their drop-in resource centre. AIDS Community Care Montréal provides workshops on a variety of topics, including hepatitis and offers counselling services. They also have an on-site kitchen and free computer and telephone access.

AIDS PEI works within a harm reduction philosophy to assist people at risk of or living with Hep C.  They provide educational workshops on hepatitis C as well as referral and support services to their clients.  Collect calls from Canadian correctional institutions are accepted.
