The Calgary chapter offers “Living with Liver Disease” information sessions on a regular basis. Safeworks is a prevention and education program that provides sterile harm reduction equipment as well as health services, including Hep C testing, to their clients. Services are provided through their mobile van service and at the Calgary Drop-In Centre, the Salvation Army Centre of Hope and the Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre. Safeworks also runs a support group, called “Grateful or Dead,” for people who use drugs.
