The Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) has information on educated and regulated naturopathic doctors across Canada.

CPAOC is composed of non-governmental organizations, incarcerated people and ex-incarcerated people across Canada that work with people in prison on HCV/HIV/AIDS and/or human rights, health promotion and harm reduction issues.

The mandate of CPAOC is to advocate for human rights, harm reduction (such as Prison-based Needle and Syringe Programs) in regards to HCV/HIV/AIDS and other systemic issues in all federal prisons and provincial institutions in Canada.

NEPs supply a variety of harm reduction equipment and prevention information on Hep C and HIV. Some also offer outreach programs. Services and materials supplied by NEPs will vary from health unit to health unit. This directory gives location and contact information for NEPs in Ontario.

ACSC provide support to people who are co-infected with HIV and hepatitis C living in the Simcoe region.  They have Hep C information resources at their office locations and they include Hep C prevention education as part of their community outreach workshops and presentations.

This small AIDS service organization incorporates Hep C prevention information into their educational workshops and presentations, available to any interested individuals or organizations in the community.

Every Friday from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, starting September 9th.

The Shelter Health Network is a group of health professionals and social service organizations that provide health services to people with unstable housing in the Hamilton area.  The Network’s Hepatitis C Program includes both education and outreach in the community as well as health care for people living with Hep C.  Once people have been referred to the program by their Shelter House doctor, the Hep C nurse assists with additional testing procedures, treatment and individual counseling.

The Ontario Harm Reduction Distribution Program provides harm reduction materials, such as sterile water, cookers, tourniquets, filters, vitamin C (acidifier) and alcohol swabs to Ontario’s needle exchange and harm reduction programs. As well, the OHRDP acts as knowledge broker and provides a website for additional information including a directory of needle exchange programs and satellites in Ontario. The program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Hepatitis C Secretariat

The ACOL provides a variety of services to people living with, affected by or at risk of contracting hepatitis C.  Services include: individual counselling and support, referrals and advocacy for testing, treatment and accessing other social services, Hep C information sessions, harm reduction education and access to several support groups.  A needle exchange program and harm reduction supplies are available onsite.

This program, run by the AIDS Committee of North Bay & Area (ACNB), aims to support people living with and affected by hepatitis C and to increase awareness of the virus in the community.  ACNB does community outreach and education through presentations and workshops.  Clients can attend their Hep C support group and can also access individual support and referral services for Hep C testing and treatment and other community services. A needle exchange program is available onsite at their office.
