This Montreal-based organization has an HIV/AIDS and safe sexuality focus; they also have hepatitis C information on their website and at their drop-in resource centre. AIDS Community Care Montréal provides workshops on a variety of topics, including hepatitis and offers counselling services. They also have an on-site kitchen and free computer and telephone access.

The Regional Office of AIDS Action gives training and workshops on HIV, hepatitis C, and harm reduction to local organizations, schools and the community. They have a variety of publications and articles on these topics. As part of their outreach program, BRAS does street work and provides needles and crack pipes to drug users. Other services include: counselling, referrals, and temporary housing to people who are co-infected with HIV and Hep C.

The Canadian Coalition of Organizations Responding to Hepatitis B and C unites organizations and individuals to focus increased attention on the response to hepatitis B and C.

The CLF has a series of free workshops (in English and French) to help people living with liver diseases, including Hep C, to manage daily challenges like anxiety, stress and how to self-advocate. A support group for people with hepatitis C and other liver diseases is also offered in Montreal (in English: first Monday of every month. In French: first Wednesday of every month. CPAOC is composed of non-governmental organizations, incarcerated people and ex-incarcerated people across Canada that work with people in prison on HCV/HIV/AIDS and/or human rights, health promotion and harm reduction issues.

The mandate of CPAOC is to advocate for human rights, harm reduction (such as Prison-based Needle and Syringe Programs) in regards to HCV/HIV/AIDS and other systemic issues in all federal prisons and provincial institutions in Canada.

CAPAHC is the primary hepatitis C organization in Québec. They have a Hep C information phone line and can provide referrals on where to get Hep C info, testing, treatment and support for all of Québec. CAPAHC also provides workshops and training for service providers, organizations, corrections services and any at-risk or interested community members. They can also accompany people living with Hep C to clinics for testing and appointments and offer a support group on the 3rd Friday of every month (year round except for July-August).

The Centre sida amitié/AIDS Friendship Centre in Saint-Jérôme has several services for people infected with hepatitis C. These services include: an information line for questions and support, a support group, counselling services, house visits and a needle exchange program. The Centre also organizes social activities every month for people living with HIV, Hep C, or those who are co-infected.

The Clinique médicale de l’Alternative in Montréal offers testing for HIV, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and hepatitis C. They also have counselling services and treat STIs on-site, but refer to other clinics for HIV and Hep C treatment.

La Communauté de pratique infirmière du Québec sur les hépatites virales (CPIQHV) is a virtual community for nurses in Quebec who work with people living with viral hepatitis. The objective is to counter their sense of isolation, develop expertise and encourage networking among professionals.

The community is a place to exchange information, tools, perspectives and advice. It promotes learning and helps professionals deepen their knowledge about issues identified by group members.

ÉMISS-ère is a community organization that promotes sexual health, safety and acceptance of the LGBTQ and HIV-positive communities. This organization has a lot of useful information about preventing the transmission of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and HIV. They also provide information on hepatitis C in the prevention workshops they do in drug rehab centres and prisons and they offer counselling and referrals.

Hépatites Ressources strives to provide information and support for people living with or at risk of contracting hepatitis C. They have a toll-free information line (1-866-372-1588) and a website with information on Hep C. They give workshops in local schools, youth homes, drug rehab centres and in the community. They also offer counselling and referrals, a support group and a needle exchange program at both of their locations.
